 Alex Areyan, M.H.R.O.D. has more than 25 years experience as a Human Resource Professional with particular skill in cultural and diversity awareness. He is a bilingual trainer and seminar leader with experience in all Human Resources functions including recruitment, counseling, compensation, Labor/Employee relations, employment law compliance, and sexual harassment training.
Alex also has a long record of designing and delivering training programs for management and employees focusing on personal empowerment, conflict management and resolution strategies, team building, positive employee relations, meditation, and supervisor and leadership training. His training workshops for union and non-union manufacturing employees and management resulted in major reductions in grievance activity. Additionally, Alex has extensive experience in union awareness training.
Alex brings a diverse background in multicultural settings where he has delivered training in cultural and diversity awareness. He is fluent in spoken and written Spanish, and is experienced in legal, technical and medical translations.
With a Masters degree in Human Resources and Organizational Diagnosis from the University of San Francisco , Alex also holds Certification in Advanced Labor Law from the Institute of Applied Management and Law in Newport Beach, CA. He served as Senior Employee and Labor Relations Administrator for the former McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Northrop Grumman and Boeing Satellite Systems.
